Hudson River

A Hudson River Painting from the 19th Century in the manner of Thomas Chambers
.
It is a scene from the ever popular spot where many artists painted in the 19th Century.

The painting is an oil on canvas that measures 24” high by 32” wide.

It depicts the northern entrance to the Highlands, Breakneck Ridge to the left, Storm King to the right and Bannerman’s Island in the middle of the river.
Probably a view from Ruggle’s House in Newburg. Provenanc: Ex.
